She began her work at the California Baptist University Counseling Center, where she supported students, faculty, and staff. Angela earned her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from California Baptist University in 2018, after completing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at California State University, San Bernardino. From May 2019 to August 2021, Angela worked with an agency contracted through the County of San Bernardino, serving high-risk youth and families. In this role, she supported individuals experiencing homelessness, those in foster care, and transitional-aged youth, all while collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Angela has experience working with teens, young adults, individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. She helps clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions, tailoring her approach to meet each person’s unique needs. Her therapeutic style integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Structural Family Therapy. For clients who desire it, Angela also offers faith-based, Christian-integrated therapy. As of July 2025, she is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), allowing her to support clients in processing and healing from trauma. Angela is especially passionate about helping clients build effective communication skills, develop healthy boundaries, and strengthen emotional regulation. She feels deeply called to support the growth and transformation of individuals and families, drawing from both her clinical training and life experience to create a meaningful and supportive therapeutic journey. Angela also offers clinical supervision, coaching and consultation appointments for licensed therapists.
